Younger children play modified rules to make the game more fun, build skills, and contain the length of the game. For information on the new rules being rolled out, click here.

Children normally play in the age group relevant to their age on 31 August. So, for example, a child who is 10 on 31 August normally plays in the U11. Nominating a child for an age group does not lock him or her in at all. The Registrar can change a child's age group after appropriate consultation.

For details on each level, click the appropriate age group in the menu on the left of this screen.
